The new Caron Cakes yarn is a perfect yarn for making this warm and comfy shawl. But feel free to substitute your favorite worsted weight yarn in solids or mixing colors for a lovely effect. This pattern would also be nice to use for your prayer shawl circle.

This generous size shawl is 85″ x 27″. I wear it with the top edge rolled down to give the appearance of having a collar. You can easily make it smaller or larger to your preferred size. In fact, as a one Caron Cake crochet pattern, it would be a nice shawlette at 47″ x 16″.
