2020 has been a difficult year and we’re missing all those friends and family we normally connect with in person. This set of patterns is dedicated to my customers at Sweet Yarns who have been connection virtually.

The Frosted Memories Collection includes three patterns:

• Winter Trellis (hat)
• Winterland Maze (cowl)
• WInterland Maze Grande (shawl)

Winter Trellis paired fingering weight with mohair to create a subtle texture for the cable design to wrap around beads. Both the mohair and beads are optional.

Materials:
2.75 & 3.5 mm needles for knitting in the round
190 yards of fingering weight yarn
190 yards of lace weight mohair (optional)
168 beads (6/0 seed)
1 stitch marker (for beginning of round)
Darning needle to sew in ends
0.6-0.8 mm hook for adding beads
Thin cable needle

Winterland Maze is a cowl that is knit flat and then has a short seam. It features eyelets, stripes and mosaic colourwork. You are welcome to pair the contrasting colour with mohair to help it stand out a little more or just for added luxury.

Materials:
3.5 mm needles for knitting flat
Main colour (MC) approximately 265 yards of fingering weight yarn
Contrast colour (CC) approximately 130 yards of fingering weight yarn
130 yards of lace weight mohair to go with CC (optional)
stitch markers (if desired)
Darning needle to sew in ends

Winterland Maze Grande is a shawl that feature eyelets, stripes and mosaic colourwork. You are welcome to pair the contrasting colour with mohair to help it stand out a little more or just for added luxury.

3.5 mm needles for knitting flat
Main colour (MC) approximately 425 yards of fingering weight yarn
Contrast colour (CC) approximately 150 yards of fingering weight yarn
150 yards of lace weight mohair to go with CC (optional)
stitch markers (if desired)
Darning needle to sew in ends
