This is the first crochet pattern in the “Our Yarn Studio” mystery yarn along for 2023. It was designed to represent frosted window, because I like looking at all the pretty things outside in January through frosted windows, because that means I am inside and warm. This is mainly designed to make a lap blanket using the Sweet Georgia Worsted, but also includes modifications for a shawl and scarf for those who are looking to make something with fingering weight yarn or want to join in on the fun of the year long mystery project, but don’t want to crochet a whole blanket. You can purchase yarn from www.ouryarnstudio.com or use any worsted (lap blanket & scarf) or fingering or DK (shawl) from your stash and join in on all the fun!

Please keep in mind that I am a super loose crocheter. So while gauge isn’t too important, if you have a limited amount of yarn set aside for this project (like you’re making the lap blanket and you only bought 1 skein) please check your gauge!

The lap blanket was pattern tested for me by redhick. Thanks for helping with my first design for sale project!

Errata:
The pattern states that all three sizes were made using a size G hook, but the shawl was made with a size D hook.
For the scarf modification:
- Row 8 should start with “Ch 1, turn, sc in first 4 sc, FPtr around 3rd sc on 3rd row below, skip next 4 sc on 3rd row below, FPtr around next sc on 3rd row below,”
