This is a quick knit in a bulky yarn - just ribbing and stockinette stitch – topped off with a big pompom. It’s a great hat for every age and gender; we’ve sized it for children, women & men. For variety, try it in a multicolored yarn, or add a stripe above, or in, the ribbing. To make it warmer, double the length of the ribbing (plus an additional 1”/2.5 cm) and fold the brim. (Plan to use 20 yds/18 m more yarn for the longer ribbing.)
