Fair Isle Frosty Flowers Beret is worked bottom up in the round in stranded colorwork. In the pattern you will find tips and tricks for colorwork technique.

Head circumference: approx 211⁄4 - 22in/54-56cm (233⁄4 - 231⁄2in/58-60cm)
Yarn: The Grey Sheep Co British Gotland 4Ply 3.5oz/100g approx 361yds/330m
Yardage:
1 (1) skein in dark grey (A);
1 (1) skein in light grey (B);
Scrap yarn approx 11yds/10m long in lilac (C).
Suggested substitute yarn: Knoll Noble or any fingering weight yarn.
Needles:
- US size 2 (2.75 mm) – short circular needle 16in/40cm long, OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE;
- US size 2 (2.75 mm) – set of dpns for crown shaping;
- US size 2.5 (3.00 mm) – circular needle 16in/40cm long for band L size.
Notions:
- CC scrap yarn (cotton or smooth yarn of the same weight as the main yarn);
- Stitch markers: 1 contrast marker for BOR, 7 removable markers;
- Tapestry needle;
- Scissors.
Gauge:
31 sts х 40 rnds = 4in/10cm in the swatch worked in stranded Stockinette stitch with US size 2 (2.75mm) needles
Gauge of the finished item worked in stranded Stockinette stitch after blocking is approx 28 sts х 38 rnds = 4in/10cm
