Frosty Mermaid Shawl
I am a HUGE fan of variegated yarn. Something about the way the colors move and compliment each other is mesmerizing to me. I wanted to create a pattern that was more than a basic garter stitch but would still allow a variegated yarn to be the star of the show. This is an easy-to-follow shawl pattern, with two repeating sections. Section 2 uses both 4mm and 8mm needles on alternating rows to complete the desired stitch. This pattern can easily be adapted for a larger or smaller size by increasing or decreasing the number of section repeats. Please note, the amount of yarn needed will vary if you decide to adjust the size.
