Frosty Walk Cowl

A fun project for the holidays, perfect fast knit to make for yourself or as a gift for family and friends. And the best part, it is super cozy and looks great with any winter coat. This item is knitted in the round using super bulky yarn. I know you see cables but don’t worry, I promise that’s the easiest part!

Size & Measurements
One size fits all. Finished measurements are 15”/38cm wide by 6”/15cm height. The circumference stretches up to 1”/3cm.
Yarn
I used super bulky weight yarn. You can easily make one using 2 strands of bulky or heavy worsted too. Is totally up to you, be creative and have fun with it!
Yarn Quantity: 90 yards - 82 meters - 150 grams
Needles
I used US11 / 8.0mm - 24”/60cm circular needles, you will knit this project in the round. If you are a loose knitter I recommend going a size down on the needles. You will also need 1 cable needle (1 US11 DPN is great for this purpose).
Gauge
Swatching is not critical for this project. My gauge was 8 sts & 18 rows = 4”/10cm, and it was measured over the finished pattern knitted in the round, after it was blocked.
Notions
1 tapestry needle, 1 stitch marker, a measuring tape and scissors.
