Slip Stitch Color-Work Hearts top a fluffy “snow” band, with a shadow-work crown that can be left plain or add a fluffy “snowball” on top.
Or choose a Flame-colored hearts on a choice of a black headband or a leafy-flame shaped pattern brim. Flaming hearts are for more warm color scheme.

Pattern is written for two sizes, with instructions on custom sizing.
A short instruction on slip stitch colorwork is included and charts allow for easy substitution of personal color preference.
This pattern makes a very thick firm hat, great for colder days or those who prefer a hat with a firm texture.
Yardage will vary by options given in pattern for which style desired.
Pattern uses two strands held together of Red Heart throughout body, and single strand Pipsqueak for the fluffy brim. Single strand Red Heart is used for flame/leafy pattern brim on Flaming Hearts model.
Some simple embroidery will be required to achieve the flame brim as shown in model (optional by preference)
