Yarn: (light) fingering (~400-500 m/440-550 yds per 100 gr/3.5 oz) in 2 colors:

• Main color (MC): Illaria Arcobaleno 3 balls of 190 m/208 yds per 50 gr/1.76 oz;
• Contrast color (CC): ~200 m/220 yds or 50 gr/1.76 oz. Best to choose a (semi) solid yarn, with high contrast to ALL colors within MC (to ensure the print really pops). Sample knit out of Filcolana Arwetta Classic; 1 ball of 210 m/ 230 yds per 50 gr/1.8 oz;

Needles 3.5 mm/US 4 (or size to obtain gauge) circular needles on 60-80 cm/24-32” cable.

Gauge: 22 sts by 19 ridges (38 rows) per 1010 cm/44” square in garter stitch after wet blocking

The finished & blocked shawl is ~135/53” by 57 cm/22” (you can block it even harder for larger size).
