PATTERN INFORMATION
This pattern was last updated on October 22, 2022.
The original version of this pattern was published in Miss Babs Fall 2017 collection and is still available in my Ravelry store. The following changes have been made in Version 2 (October 2022): Firstly, I have added two more sizes, 156.5 and 166 cm/61.5 and 65.25 in. Secondly, to give the sweater a more up-to-date look, I have shortened the body and widened the sleeves (but there is a note explaining how to reduce the upper arm circumference, if you prefer close fitting sleeves). I have also simplified instructions for starting the sleeves. Finally, I have added an optional roll neck.
Frozen Leaves is a light and comfortable pullover featuring a ribbed leaf pattern. The upper back and front both start with a sideways leaf pattern panel, then yoke stitches are picked up along the upper edges of the panels and worked bottom up, with short rows shaping the shoulders. The back and front are joined at the shoulders using knitted seams, which are also used to join the front and back panels at the sides. Sleeve stitches are picked up along the armholes and, after a small section of short rows, the sleeves are worked top down. Lower body stitches are picked up along the lower edge of the front and back panels and worked top down in the round to the desired length. There are two options for finishing the neckline: an i-cord neckband or a roll neck.
