The matching socks for the Frozen Puddles shawl :wink:

The Frozen Puddles socks are worked from the toe up. A small gusset at the shadow wrap heel makes the sock comfortable even for a wider instep .

The stitch pattern on the foot has a 8-stitches repeat and imitates the beauty of frozen puddles.

The instructions have been written for magic looping but also DPNs can be used.

Socks should be worn with a bit of negative ease. For the best fit, a sock should measure about 10 % smaller than the actual foot circumference, and about 5% shorter than the actual foot length. The foot length can be adjusted easily.

18.5 cm / 7.25″ circumference, fits approximate foot circumference of 20 cm / 7.75”; women’s EU 37–39/US 6 ½–8 ½

SIZE 2:
20 cm / 7.75″ circumference, fits approximate foot circumference of 22 cm / 8.75”); women’s EU 39-41/US 9–10

SIZE 3:
21 cm / 8.25″ circumference, fits approximate foot circumference of 24 cm / 9.5”); women’s EU 41-42/US 10

SIZE 4:
22.5 cm / 8.75″ circumference, fits approximate foot circumference of 25 cm / 9.75”); for wide feet
