Frozen Sun Shawl is half circle / crescent shawl with easy stripes & lace pattern and chevron edge worked in one piece from center back to bottom edge .
The shawl comes in two versions with MC (Version 1) or CC (Version 2) edge.
Sample shawl shown in Version 1.

Finished measurements:
63”(160 cm) wingspan 20”(50 cm) deep in the deepest point. Adjustable by adding or taking away pattern repeats.

Skills required: knit, purl, elongated stitch, garter tab CO, basic lace (see Helpful Links below)

Yarn:
Version 1:
MC: 460yds /420m of fingering weight yarn; gradient, hand painted or solid color.
CC: 115yds / 105m of of fingering weight yarn; solid color.
Version 2:
MC: 300yds /270m of fingering weight yarn; gradient, hand painted or solid color.
CC: 275yds / 250m of of fingering weight yarn; solid color.

The shawl can be made with other weight yarns with appropriate needle sizes.
