Fruit Loop Baby Jacket
This is a sturdy little Coat/jacket for baby. For my youngest granddaughter really.
It uses a lovely Tunisian stitch called Beehive with a firm sc stitch, using two colours, but one only could be used. It is versatile with colours so have fun.
I called it Fruit Loop, as the Robin Paintbox Nursery reminded me of a cereal I could buy in the USA…called Fruit Loop….
I did use DK, but if a lighter or heavier yarn is used, the garment would turn out smaller or larger, worth investigating. I just don’t like a heavy yarn for a baby.
This is my first baby jacket design. I hope that anyone who makes it will let me know how they get on, and put up some pictures of how the interpret the design.
I did not use the two skeins to make the jacket, having enough left over to make a hat to match, which I have not done yet, but will be working on soon.
