Fruit Pastilles ice lolly crochet pattern PDF, not a finished item, English (US) crochet terms

Based on the classic UK Fruit Pastilles ice lolly, approximately life size (17cm length)

Suitable for advanced beginners due to occasional colour changes. Techniques used are:

• Chain
• Single crochet
• Increase
• Invisible decrease
• Slip stitch
• Back loop only crochet
• Colour changes
• Magic ring (optional, but will produce better results)

Materials required:

• 3.5mm crochet hook
• DK weight yarn (maroon, orange, green, red, yellow, beige)
• Yarn needle
• Soft stuffing
• Lolly/popsicle stick 11cm x 1cm
• (Optional) Approx 4cm x 4cm cardboard
• (Optional) Drill with 2mm drill bit, or craft knife
