Hello :) I no joke made this vest four times before I finished the pattern so you know it’s gotta be good lol. Everyone said that it looked like candy so that’s why I chose the name Fruity Patootie.

This is a pattern not a tutorial so it’s expected that you know the basic fundamentals of crochet and have maybe tried crochet colour work before. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to Dm me on Insta @Corduroykidd.

Each size has it’s own hook size and specifications because this vest is worked sideways and it was the only way I could get it all to work out right, but I’ve tested all the sizes and they all match their measurements.

XS — 15” (38cm) wide, 14” (35.5cm) long from shoulder to rib

S — 17” (43cm) wide, approx 15” (38cm) long

M —approx 18.5” (47cm) wide, approx 16” (40.5cm) long

L — 20.5” (52cm) wide, 16.5” (42cm) long

You’ll need around 300+ metres of the main colour, and less than 100 metres of all the others
