Dandelions pop up all over the city in the spring and the poppy flowers we see along the medians that separate the traffic on Park Ave were the inspiration that gives this pullover a subtle pop of color to infuse the energy of the season.

The creativity and playful mood of Spring are also displayed in the mixing of color and stripes. The placement of the color stripes reverses from back to front, and the patterns change from sleeve to sleeve.

Flora, a fine strand of yarn studded with tiny, delicate paillettes attracts the light and bounces off the garment. We add Flora to the poppy color on the back and the front to let the yellow enjoy a bit of a twinkle.

The reverse stockinette stitch on the body allows the colors to interplay with each other and is a perfect balance to the stockinette sleeves. We love the way the stripes on the cuffs are purposely mismatched. Long cuffs are a simple, but brilliant design detail that creates a very slender looking sleeve.
