Fruited Sour Top
The Fruited Sour Top was inspired by summer nights and craft beer, specifically it’s namesake, a tarte and sweet fruited sour. The bead stitches used in this pattern are reminiscent of little berries, and the cotton and linen blend that I used for my sample makes it perfect for wearing on its own or for layering when the night gets chilly. The front and back panels are worked separately and seamed together, then the sleeves are worked directly onto the body.
This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners as you will need to know the bead stitch and basic increasing and decreasing. It is graded for sizes XS (S, M, L, XL) (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X). My sample is a size L on a 43in. bust.
MATERIALS:
- 4mm hook (or size needed to meet gauge).
- Approximately 1096 (1233, 1370, 1507, 1644) (1781, 1918, 2055, 2192) yards/398 (448, 498, 548, 597) (647, 697, 747, 797) grams DK weight yarn (I used Patons Linen in the shade Poppy).

DISCLAIMER: This pattern was not tested on sizes 2X, 3X, 4X, or 5X. I would be happy to provide this pattern for free if you’re interested in making this size in exchange for a small amount of feedback!
