This assymatrical shawlette is inspired by and named after the wonderful luckdragon Falkor (Fuchur in German) of „The Neverending Story“ by Michael Ende, one of my alltime favourite children’s books. It features garterstitch sections, seedstitch sections and sections with slipped stitches. The different stitch patterns are ment to resemble the dragon’s skin, fur and scales, the light zigzag-edge immitates a dragonridge. German short rows and increases and decreases on both sides of the rows result in the shape oft the shawlette.
Using Light Fingering or Fingering Weight Yarn, this little shawl is a superlight version of a dragon and fits in every pocket or bag.

Materials: 1 x 3 mm / US 2.5 (Circular) needles (Choose preferred method!)
1 x Tapestry needle (to weave in yarn ends)

Yarn: Light Fingering or Fingering Weight Yarn, approx. 105g or 441m/482yds
