Fuck the Tories Hat
Pattern for a slightly slouchy adult hat, with ‘FUCK THE TORIES’ in colourwork just above the brim. Please note that the pfd includes instructions and the chart for chunky, aran/worsted, and DK weight
I designed the hat in the wake of the 2019 general election. It is a charity hat - that is, all money raised from sales of this pattern support the setting up and maintaining of a ‘free food’ garden in my small village, Hill of Fearn in the Scottish Highlands. In 2020 I am going to build a small ‘free food’ garden for my local community on a bit of my land by the side of our lane - c. 1.50x3m. Sales of this pattern support materials needed for this, and - if enough money is raised - allow me to kit out a nearby shed and put up a small polytunnel for use of the community.
Note 2020: we built the garden, and will continue to run it. We gave out 80 boxes of free veg plants in 2020 and ran a weekly free food stall on Saturdays during the summer.
