Fuego is the Spanish word for fire. I named this amazing shawl after this because the pattern reminds little flickering flames.

The shawl is crocheted top-down. The pattern uses only single crochets, double crochets and chains and therefore it is a good pattern for crochet beginners.

Needed materials:

• approx. 200 grams (7.05 oz) or approx. 750 – 800 meters (820 – 874 yds) of yarn (e.g. laceyarn, fingering weight or a non-plied multi-strand handcrafted yarn such as cotton-acrylic blends
• crochet hook size 3 – 3.5 mm (US 2.5 - 4)
• scissors
• sewing needle

Size of the finished shawl after blocking: approx. 180 x 80 cm (70.85 x 31.5 in)

The pattern runs 10 pages, it contains a written pattern, charts and a schematic. Skill level easy.
