The Full Cup Bralette is made with big boobs in mind - with corset lacing, wide and adjustable shoulder straps and rounded cups with independent sizing - meaning you can have any band length with two different cup sizes! I am a 34F/G in my photos, which means I am wearing two different sized cups. Can you tell which is which?

This 42 page pattern contains 59 photos, 6 illustrations and 10 charts to help you make the perfect bralette. This top is made up of the band, two cups, two straps, and lacing along the edges. This pattern has a difficulty level of advanced beginner to intermediate, you will be using a magic circle and picking up stitches along the edge.

Materials Needed
-Crochet hooks: sizes F (3.75mm) and G (4.0mm)
-Larger crochet hook for the Foundation Chain: I (5.5mm) to K (6.5mm)
-Yarn needle
-Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn: This pattern was developed using Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Yarn and Loops and Threads Everyday Cotton
-5 stitch markers

A note about using cotton vs acrylic. The pattern was developed with cotton yarn but some of my testers found success with acrylic. However, I would caution against buying the bralette with the intention to use acrylic yarn, as I personally never tested with acrylic yarn.

Abbreviations
-MC: Magic Circle

Yardage
The amount of yarn needed will depend on your bra size. The length in yards can be found in Chart 2.

Measurements
This pattern is in US sizing, including the crochet hook size, stitches and bra sizing. This pattern uses Canadian/British spelling. Inches are used rather than metric values for consistency because US bra sizing uses inches for the band.

Gauge
The gauge entered is 14 stitches by 12 rows (4”x4”) but there are multiple elements to the pattern, including a magic circle and chain stitches. Due to the various sizing options, the diameter of the cup at different stages is given in inches, rather than the number of stitches.

This pattern uses a combination of F (3.75mm) and G (4.0mm) hooks, as well as a larger hook to make a stretchable foundation chain with a gauge of 11 stitches stretched over 4 inches.

Sizes available
Sizing is according to your bra size, meaning the cup letter and the numbered band. There are 8 sizes of cups in this pattern.

This pattern was designed using the sizing of a non-molded, medium to full coverage, underwire bra, such as the Elomi Matilda or the Panache Envy. If you try to use the sizing of a sports bra or a bra for which the build is different, the bralette won’t fit correctly. Make sure to check you have the correct size in this particular style before proceeding.
