Full Flower Lariat Garland
This pattern is fun and very versatile. The stitches used result in fluffier petals rather than completely flat petals. You can use most any type of yarn…I have made these lariats with everything from size 3 cotton crochet thread to bulky yarn, it all depends on the look you would like and how large you want your flowers to be. For this pattern, I have used regular WW cotton yarn. Also…gauge is not important (yay!).
This PDF pattern (opened with Adobe Acrobat Reader) is easy to intermediate, and uses basic stitches: sc, dc and slip stitch. I have also included a list of any abbreviations used.
You can vary the number of flower repeats for different lengths; this pattern is for a chain of flowers that is 60 inches (152 cm)long. You can fold it in half and wrap it around your neck, pulling the ends through the fold for the lariat effect; leave it long and hanging, or wrap it around several times. Experiment and have fun!
