THIS LISTING IS FOR THE CROCHET PATTERN ONLY - NOT A PHYSICAL ITEM

I ONLY sell patterns on Etsy and Ravelry. If you see any of my patterns anywhere else then they are stolen. My patterns are now all watermarked thanks to thieves. Thank you for supporting the real designer!

This little monster includes instructions on how to make them into a bean bag to juggle with, play cornhole or hacky sack, or throw at your friends! Or they can be made with stuffing and be a fun little desk and travel buddy. Little fine yarn versions make great keychains. Or how about Xmas tree ornaments? Whatever you make them for, these guys are great little scrap busters!

This is a no-sew advanced beginner level pattern, written in US terms. This pattern is completely no-sew unless you opt to sew on the facial features instead of gluing or using safety eyes. This pattern is fully tested and there are lots of pictures and detailed instructions to help you make your monster buddy! Please tag me on Instagram when you finish your monster so that I can see how awesome they are! IG: @lisa_be_stitchin

Supplies needed:
-Yarn size of your choice and hook size compatible to your yarn size. I personally use 2.5mm with fine weight yarn, 3.5mm with medium, 4.5mm-5mm with bulky, and 6.5mm-7mm for super bulky.
-Felt or safety eyes for facial features. I use E6000 Fabrifuse glue to glue on the felt pieces but you can also opt to sew them on.
Plastic pellets or other bean bag material if opting for a bean bag monster
-Something to contain the pellets within your crochet work. A piece of panty hose or t-shirt material works great.
-Stuffing material (even the bean bag version will require some stuffing)
-Optional for stuffed version only: Small scrap of cardboard for base and some weight material. I use small, decorative pebbles but beans, glass gems, or similar materials will work. You can skip these items if you’d prefer to do a fully stuffed monster (like for a keychain) but keep in mind that your monster will not be able to stand up on its own this way.
-Tapestry needle
-Stitch marker

Sizing examples:
My little fine weight monster (keychain in pictures) is about 2.5” tall and 2” wide.
My medium weight monsters are about 4” tall and 3” wide.
