When designing this pattern I wanted to emulate the traditional knitted festive colourwork but in crochet form so that it was accessable to a wider range of crafters. As we crocheters know - the best thing about tapestry crochet is the lack of floats on the reverse of the work, this stocking is beautifully neat both inside and out. Full of gorgeous traditional motifs in a chic, festive-but muted colour palette it is the perfect addition to any festive fireplace.
