Fully Convertible Mittens
I came up with the idea for these mitts when I wanted a pair of flip-top mittens, but didn’t want the bulk of the mitten top on the back of my hand when I wore them as fingerless gloves.
These gloves feature a removable mitten top that secures to the glove using buttons on the back of the hand, so the mitts are truly fingerless when the tops aren’t on.
NOTE: The pattern is the same for all sizes, size is determined by needle size and gauge. Small is about 7 stitches per inch, medium is 6 stitches per inch, and large is 5-5.5 stitches per inch.
