I changed how the handle was knitted. Instead of long wise, I knitted short wise so that the pattern could show again. The handles are 10 ss across for 30 inches.
I felted for 30 minutes (in 10 minute intervals). This made the bag much smaller than in the book. But it is also much cuter.
