Fun Check Beanie is two looks one pattern. Work extra rows of stocking stitch for a turn up brim or leave unturned, both look nice. This is a writing pattern worked flat on two needles, with one seam. This is a nice easy pattern to learn two colour work
The smallest size takes approx. 60 yards of main shade and 12 yards of contrast colour. You would use a little more main if turning back the brim.
