The Fundamental Lace Cowl knits up fast in one skein of your favorite lace weight yarn because with the main body of the cowl is knit with the yarn held double. The delicate edges of the cowl are knit with the lace held single for an unusual lacy edge. The Cowl has been test knit and tech edited and is presented in a clear manner. This as an intermediate beginner level pattern.

The Fundamental Lace Cowl is lovely knit up in a solid color, variegated, or semi-solid yarn.

Description
A simple lace cowl that knits up quick with the yarn held double in the round for the main body, and held by itself for the delicate but simple edging. Written instructions are provided.

Needles
One 20 inch Size US 6/ 4mm Circular Knitting Needle, or size needed to get gauge.

Yarn
3.5 ounces of Teresa Ruch Designs 100% Wool, 24 WPI Lace weight yarn. Approximately 500 yards/459 meters. Total Yardage for scarf is 143 yards/131 meters.

Gauge
With yarn held double 16 stitches and 32 rows over 4 inches in Main Pattern Stitch.

Finished Measurements
24 inches around by 6 inches wide.
