Description
Fungus Slipover V-Neck is a feminine drop shoulder slipover with a wide ribbed band around the neck and down the V-neck. The slipover has a beautiful Moss stitch pattern doubled in height. You will start out this slipover by knitting a ribbed neckband. After knitting this neckband you will pick up stitches for the yoke in this neckband, and you will then knit the yoke and the rest of the band together. The slipover is being knitted back and forth until the whole of the sleeves has the correct length, and you will gather your work and then knit in the round. The slipover is knitted top down, making it easy to adjust the length of the body. The slipover is constructed so that the shoulder stitches should appear on the back piece and not on top of the shoulder – this gives an elegant fit.

Sizes
2XS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL
The slipover is designed with a positive ease of 10-25 cm depending on how oversized you like your slipover to be. Consider going down 1-2 sizes for a less oversized look. You might want to choose a larger size than you usually do for an oversized look. The model in the picture has a bust measurement of approximately 84 cm and is wearing a size XS with a positive ease of about 30 cm. The recommendation is to aim for a larger ease in the smaller sizes and a smaller ease in the larger sizes.

Finished measurements
Bust measurement: approx.109 (115) 121 (128) 135 (140) 146 (151) 157 cm. Body length measured center back including the neckband: approx. 65 (67) 69 (72) 75 (76) 77 (79) 80 cm.

Materials
150 (150) 175/200 (175/200) 200 (225/250) 225/ 250 (250) 250 g of Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive 225 m/25 g or another similar Silk Mohair quality held double e. g. Önling No 10. If you choose to knit your slipover in two different colors held together as I did, you will have to choose the biggest amount of yarn mentioned in your size. The slipover is knitted up in two strands of Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive. The color is Brown Nougat.
You will also need 6 stitch markers knitting this slipover – 2 stitch markers will need to be able to open as a safety pin.

Needles
The slipover is knitted in Moss stitch doubled in height - to begin with back and forth, later in the round on circular needle 80-100 cm, 4 mm using two strands of Soft Silk Mohair. Use double-pointed needles for the neckband - you will need 3. I also recommend using 2 circular needles 4 mm – then when having to let stitches rest, you can leave these stitches on your needle while knitting with the other one. But it will also work letting your stitches resting on a thread or a wire for stitches.

Gauge
18 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm on needle size 4 in Moss stitch doubled in height.
