This design was inspired by my love for 70’s vintage crochet, a modern boho twist to the retro granny square that was used in many crochet wearable pieces during that time. It’s a funky stylish vest and a fun way to show your love for granny squares. This vest is a perfect transitional garment you can wear year round- Layer it with a long sleeve top or an easy free-spirited look with a tank top, super easy to style with jeans, leggings, shorts or a skirt! A fun addition to your crochet wardrobe. The pattern is available in sizes XS-3XL and can be adjusted to your desired preference. The entire pattern was updated with more instructions in 2021, to even better help you make this awesome funky fringe vest.

This project uses a 6.5mm (K) hook and worsted weight yarn.
