MATERIALS:
Any kind of yarn. If you use a cotton yarn like Catania Solids by Schachenmayr SMC the car will be approx. 2.5/1.5 inches (6cm/3,5cm). But you can use any other weight of yarn for this pattern. Bulky yarn means a bigger car.
