Funny Monkey
Basic knowledge of crochet is needed.
what you will need:
yarn BROWN (MC) & TAN (CC)
hook size to match yarn weight
stitch marker
polyfil for stuffing
scissors
yarn needle
pins to hold while attaching pieces
safety eyes ~ size depends on how big your monkey is, I used 16mm
optional I-Cord maker ~ link provided if using crochet/hook I-Cord
abbreviations:
mr ~ magic ring
ch ~ chain
sc ~ single crochet
ss ~ slip stitch
inc ~ increase
dec ~ decrease
rpt ~ repeat
rnd ~ round
i-cord ~ link provided
F/O ~ fasten off
this pattern is worked in continuous rounds & US terms
notes:
- I used a “G” hook
- I used “I Love This Yarn” in BROWN & TAN
- I used 16mm eyes
- make the mouthpiece & arms/legs first
- I used the Tulip I-Cord Knitter for arms/legs, video link for making an i-cord with hook is provided if you don’t have the machine.
