This is a pretty simple hat to make, I have included videos of examples of techniques used to create this hat. I didn’t use a whole skein of the Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn, but did use a whole skein of Starbella Arctic Yarn. I also made an alteration to the arctic yarn, which I show in my blog.
Used a CinDwood 44 peg 1/2 gauge loom for the project but have the pattern written for the 36 peg loom as well. You can easily adjust this pattern to a larger loom for a larger size.
For the ruffle arctic yarn there is a video I found that Andy Rose did showing how to go about loom knitting with the ruffle yarn to the inside of the loom rather than the outside. The only difference is this pattern goes circular rather than flat.
You will cast off very loosely for the hat to fit on the head easily. This also works up fast, I did it last night watching a movie.
