Furry Fun Pillow
The fur stitch is simply the loop stitch with the loops snipped. Working the fur in columns creates an interesting counterpoint between raised and flat areas. The pattern includes technique photos and written instructions.
Yarn is Kangaroo Dyer, 50% merino, 50% silk, 3.5 ounces (100 grams)/300 yards (275 meters). The pillow does not use the entire skein.
The back of the pillow is worked in single crochet.
You will need a pillow form 10 inches square. A tapestry needle is recommended for weaving in ends.
