Fuschl ist ein Dreieckstuch mit einer komplett umlaufenden Rüsche. Es wird von links nach rechts gestrickt, wobei die Rüsche, durch verkürzte Reihen, gleich mit gestrickt und nicht nachträglich gearbeitet wird.

Die Rüsche wird kraus rechts, das Tuch selbst glatt rechts gestrickt und es lässt sich völlig Fernsehtauglich stricken.

Durch diese große, glatt rechts gestrickte, schlichte Fläche wirkt das Tuch elegant und klassisch. Es ist ideal, um wunderbare Garne wirken zu lassen und Farbverläufe oder Handfärbungen zur Geltung kommen zu lassen.

Das Tuch ist mit beliebiger Wolle in der dazu passenden Nadelstärke zu stricken, es bedarf keiner Maschenprobe. Die oben angegebenen Werte beziehen sich auf das Mustertuch und dienen nur zur Orientierung.

Die Anleitung ist Anfängertauglich gestaltet mit Erklärung und Foto Tutorials zur Erläuterung der Zunahme und der verkürzten Reihen.

Fuschl is a triangular shawl with a complete ruffle edge. It is knit from left to right; the ruffle edge is knit at the same time, not added later on, using German short rows.

The ruffle is knit in garter stitch, the triangle in stockinette stitch and it is a mindless knitting project.

Using stockinette stitch for this large triangle, with only a small ruffle all around gives the shawl a classic, elegant look, an ideal shawl to show off beautiful yarns, like colour gradients or hand dyed yarns.

You can knit the shawl with any yarn, using the appropriate needles. No gauge is required.
The suggested yarn, needles and gauge are merely for your information. They have been used to knit the sample shawl.
