fusion scarves
I call this fusion knitting! It was inspired by an exhibition of Amish Quilting, I loved the texture and colours of the fabrics used and the way they were put together.
This is a written pattern for knitted and felted scarves, with a chart for each of the patterns, all easy to follow. It takes around 160 to 200 grams of yarn to make each one, and as many colours as you can get your hands on! The first two designs are made with around 80 or more colours and the third (the kite shaped diamond) has 60 or so colours.
The finished scarves are about 20 to 24cms wide and about 110 to 120 cms long, but you can make them any size you like.
You will need to know how to knit and purl and how to felt your finished work. I sell separate felting notes giving you instructions and formulae to work out how to felt easily and to the size you want to end up with.
I also sell kits containing the yarns to make up these designs in 7 colourways. Visit me at www.skybluepink-designs.com
C’est design est maintenant aussi en francais, comme touts mes creations tricot-feutre, il faut savoir les techniques de feutrage, donc achetez-vous aussi les instructions de feutrage.
