After viewing an exhibition of Amish quilting I was inspired to try and design using the repeating patterns I saw in the quilts. I felted the piece after knitting and here’s one of the results.
You will need to know how to knit and purl, work with more than one colour on your needles and also how to felt successfully. If you haven’t felted before, please check out my universal felting notes and calculations (sold separately) so that you get it right first time and get a good understanding of the process.
It takes around 75 grams of yarn to make this snug and as many colours as you can get your hands on!
