Futago is a striped oven mitt made with the thermal stitch. There are three variations, you can choose to make a set of two mitts with a joining cord, a continuous double oven mitt, or two separate mitts.

What’s the thermal stitch?
A double-layered crochet stitch. The nature of the thermal stitch makes the fabric thick and rigid, without openings that could cause unwanted burns.

Difficulty: intermediate to advanced

Finished size
16 cm wide and 23 cm long for each single mitt. The joining cord of variation 1 is about 10 cm long.
16 cm wide and 56 cm long for continuous double oven mitt.
