This pattern uses a few basic stitches to create this awesome future-tastic alien slug. You will need to know how to do a magic circle to complete this pattern. You can alternatively CH 3, SS to first chain on the hook to create a ring, then HDC into the circle 6 times. This method will work just fine, however the magic circle does have a cleaner look once completed.

The slug is completed in pieces which are then sewn together at the end using the long tail ends. The finished slug measures 3 inches tall. The pattern works great as a toy but is also easily attached to hats for a quick n’ easy costume.
