I must admit, I am a sucker for socks. Around the house, my feet are never without them. These are nice “around the house” socks. They knit up quick and easy on U.S. Size 8 needles. This also makes them a great item to knit for gifts.

This design is very adaptable. We used sport weight and worsted weight acrylics in our samples. The design also works up very well in wools and cottons. If you have a stash of yarn scraps that you’ve been holding back because they were too good to throw out and not enough to do anything with, try working up easy stripes. Be creative—have fun.
