Fuzzy Baby Owl
by Amanda Ward
This pattern is
available for free.
This is a baby owl that I whipped up for my sister as a Christmas present. I used some fuzzy (brushed acrylic) yarn that we have had in our yarn stash for years, probably bought by mom back in the 70s or 80s! The brushed yarn gives the little owl a ‘fuzzy’ appearance.
NOTE: Gauge is not really important, as long as your stitches are worked tightly enough that the stuffing cannot come out of the owl. I suppose you could use thicker yarn and a bigger hook for a larger ird, but I think it would be too chunky (best to find a larger pattern).
