My girlfriend wanted a cute and cozy balaclava for our Christmas vacation in Quebec, so I decided to make her a simple balaclava and attach some bear ears to it. Most balaclava patterns I found online used double crochet, and the ones that had ears weren’t freely available, so I decided to just freehand my own. I am semi-new to crocheting so my pattern-making/-writing skills aren’t great, but I figured I would write this one out since I couldn’t find a good one online!

This is “one-size fits all” but I would suggest trying on the pattern periodically and adjusting as needed.

I used less than one skein of Big Twist Plush yarn (or Bernat Baby Blanket) to make this, and an 8mm (L-11) crochet hook.
