Fuzzy Blanket Poncho
by Tara M Clark
I love the look and feel of Caron Latte Cakes. They are incredibly soft and the “mohair” strand adds that extra fuzziness of a really great sweater or cozy blanket. The weight and drape of the yarn works really well with this one piece poncho. Even though the sides are open, it is very warm and snuggly! That extra layer of warmth for a chilly office or when your housemate wants to keep the electric bill down.
This pattern is very flexible and easy to customize. You can make the width narrow for more of a vest look or wider for more arm coverage. You can make the front and back the same length or continue the back side longer for a high-low style.
You will need:
- 2-3 cakes of Caron Latte Cakes or about 1000-1600 yards of Red Heart Hygge yarn or #5 chunky yarn.
- 6.5mm hook
