The cat sits 8” tall, and measures 15” from head to foot, or 18” from head to tip of tail. This cute kitty works up quickly because of the large stitch you get from the yarn.
TIP: to make sure the yarn fuzzes out properly, pull extra yarn when you pull through the last time on each stitch, then snug it back down. This ensures the little “fuzzies” on the yarn will show on the outside of the piece.
I joined each limb with the tails leftover as I finished each piece, using my hook to draw the yarn through to attach.
You will need some sort of eye and nose details, either safety eyes, or buttons, or embroider them using floss or felt.
This pattern took about 1 1/2 skeins of this yarn.
