Fuzzy Trees
The ‘Fuzzy Trees’ is a fun whimsical knit picture. It can be done with crazy yarn or with nature tone, you can follow the pattern strictly, or change it and meander as you knit on. Mainly, it’s an exercise in loosening our color restrictions, and celebrating color & texture.
Knit-wise: knitted sideways, so the trees are simple stripes.
Knit level: st.st with a mixture of stranding and intarsia.
Size: 65 sts & 115 rows, which is a big chart (longer knit time).
Finished size depends on your yarn & needles:
Big needles + chunky yarn = big picture or a baby blanket.
Small needles + sock or dk yarn = smaller picture.
Yarn: Use yarn & needles of your choice, as gauge is not crucial.
Yarn quantities are not specified. When you run out of yarn, please do not unravel. Instead, get creative and substitute with other yarns. You can always embroider on top later.
My advice: choose the craziest yarns. Use all the yarns you can, and a big variety of colors & textures.
Many thanks to everybody who helped bringing this picture to life :)
