Pattern details are as follows:
LEVEL: Confident beginner (stitches are simple, but there’s a lot of FLO/BLO)
FINISHED SIZE:
Length- 56” long
Width- 5 ½” (at widest part)

SUPPLIES:
• 5mm hook (US H-8) for worm, 3.5mm hook (US E-4) for eyes
• Stitch markers, or similar
• Yarn needle (for sewing eyes)
• Worsted weight Yarn (wight- Medium/4) – 605 yards/560 meters of main colour. Minimal amounts of white and black for eyes (also worsted).
STITCHES/ ABBREVIATIONS USED- US terminology
• St: stitch
• Ch: chain
• Sl st: slip stitch
• MR: magic ring/Magic circle
• Sc: single crochet
• Hdc: half double crochet
• Inc: regular increase (two crochet stitches in one stitch)
• DC 2 TOG/Dec: decrease (crochet two stitches together- dc dec in this pattern)
• BLO: back loop only
• FLO: front loop only
• F/O; finish or fasten off
• Numbers in brackets at the end of the row dictate the number of stitches you should have eg- the first round of the eye white will have (16) stitches.
