Fyrian scarflette
Inspired by the dragon from one of my all time favorite books, The Girl Who Drank the Moon, Fyrian is a funny, sweet, perfectly tiny dragon (with a terrible singing voice). No matter his size, he saves the day just in time.
It’s the perfect use for that one very nice, very pricy skein you bought years ago that you’re saving for the perfect one-skein project.
Gauge was a bit odd to measure, but, after blocking, I got 5 stitches per inch in stockinette, and 4 inches across the whole project, post blocking.
This pattern is charted, and written out row-by-row, and also contains a low-visibility version. There is an optional keyhole section if you’d like to thread the tail through the head, and that option contains a video tutorial.
It is knit from tail to tip of the nose, and worked on the bias, with slipped stitches and pretty eyelets along both sides.
Video tutorial of the keyhole, and low-vision version coming soon!
