Gabby’s Cardi is from the soon to be released Fatal Fleece by Sally Goldenbaum in May of 2012. The latest in her Seaside Knitters Mystery Series. I was honored when Sally asked if we could do a child’s cardigan for the newest member of the Sea Harbor. The hardest challenge was keeping is so simple for this ten year old tomboy.

Just received my copy of the book and we are so honored to have been apart of Gabby’s journey along with the rest of the members of Sea Harbor.

Don’t have a “tomboy” in your life. Why not dress this up a bit with a summery cotton fabric attached where the sleeve’s ribbing begins on the inside and then fold over, or pick up stitches a few inches from the bottom edge to knit a pocket (sized to your choosing) and add fabric to the top of the pocket.
