• Yarn of your choice in 3 colours - white/cream, a dark tone and a mid-tone (I used 5 weight acrylic 80%/wool 20% blend)
• Crochet hook(s) to suit your yarn (I used 5mm and 4mm)
• Darning needle
• Scissors
• Measuring tape

• Slip knot onto hook
• Making a chain
• Single crochet (SC)
• Double crochet (DC)
• Slip stitch (Sl. st.)
• Working into the 3rd loop of a chain (optional)
• Invisible finishing stitch (optional)
• Weaving in ends
• Changing colours
