This top down shawl features a scalloped edge that is created by the lace pattern so no additional edging is required. The slight curve created by the scallops insures that the shawl stays draped over the shoulder.

The pattern includes directions for both worsted and lace weight yarns. The original yarn was knit in BitsyKnits Surino Twist, a high twist blend of Suri Alpaca and Merino Wool that has an elegant drape when knit up.
